Salad Bar-BEWARE!

I went to Sweet Tomatoes tonight for dinner, which was awesome. I used to think (incorrectly so) that most of the things there were healthy. They are if you know what you are eating. And yes, I had to have one chocolate chip cookie (70 cal). But they have an awesome site that gives all of their nutritional information. I was still under 1500cal on the day and I am busting at the seams.

I think I am beginning to like vegetables. I never thought I would hear those words from me, but there they are. Now, I just have to work on liking fish. (gick)

    Ughhh I hate fish too!!! I have tried time and time again to make my self like it and I just can’t….

    Yes you have to beware even at the salad bar.
    It sounds all innocent and healthy but there are so many add ons that do just that add on the calories.

    Good for you for getting your veggies in and staying under your cals for the day.

    Some fish I love, some fish ewwwwww
    so maybe just try some different types and see what you like.
    They aren’t all the same.

    Vegetables are extremely low in calories, some in the 30’s. It’s the salad dressing that is adding to the calories.
