Weighed in: Bad news friends and neighbors.

So, I spent a few days away from home and away from this site and low and behold I have gained 1.5lb, or so reads the scale the intermittently doesn’t work. Should I be weighing in at the same time everyday? The same day of the week? And if anyone happens to read this, any thoughts on aqui berries?

I went to see my father, who loves me, and buys me ice cream. I know I should have said no, but those little containers are so misleading. He also got me 100 calorie snacks, which work if you have one, not four. Am I giving up? Hell no. But I know my enemies now. I have to take a little notebook with me where ever I go. I don’t think that I am eating that much until I look at it on paper.

My husband has been awesomely supportive and honestly cannot keep his hands off of me. The idea of a new me excites us both. Well, I happen to now have a sore hip from yesterday’s adventures requiring a heating pad, ibuprofen, and rest, at least for today. Perhaps this means that I need to work yoga into my regime.

Those 100 calorie packs are worthless, I ALWAYS eat at least 2 if not 3.
    Also, hello fellow Kansan! :)

well done for not giving up, I have had SO many set backs in the last few months and I always pick myself up eventually!
As for the weighing in, I find weighing at the same time every week works for me cause my weight fluctuates by up to 5 pounds in a day so over a week it usually balances out. My day is Monday morning just after getting up in the morning!

    Good luck :)

I would say weigh yourself once or twice a week, in the morning before you eat or drink anything. I find I can’t weigh myself more then that. Or else I become obssess.

I’m happy for you, that you and hubby is excited about this journey. It’s exciting.

My honey, on the otherhand, practically cried with every lb loss. He didn’t want me to lose a single lb. He met me at 180 lbs and loved it all. Except I didn’t. And I have lost 36 for a total of 76 lbs loss.

You can do it and have fun along the way. Good luck!

She’s right, don’t weigh yourself everyday or you will make yourself crazy. Women’s weights fluctuate 1-2 a day sometimes because of water weight, etc etc. I do once or twice a week, at the SAME time of day in the SAME spot of the house, wearing the same type of thing, if possible. Make sure you have an accurate scale or you’ll really go out of your mind. Good luck to you!!
